Dear Connect Community Member,

We’re excited to announce that Connect will receive a number of powerful enhancements in time for your fall courses!  

Connect will be unavailable from 8:00 p.m. ET, Friday, July 27th to 11:59 p.m. ET, Sunday, July 29th as we implement these enhancements. All of the improvements will be ready to use immediately upon sign in on Monday, July 30th.

We strive to find the lowest usage times to make our enhancements, but we know that some of you may need to adjust your assignment due dates.  If you’d like help modifying your assignment due dates, please call our Customer Experience Group at 800-331-5094 or submit a support request via our Contact Us form,

Here are just a few examples of the exciting enhancements headed your way.  

A simpler course creation process:
  • An added scroll bar in Step 1: Find Your Textbook will let you find your title and get your class started quickly.
  • You’ll be able to download your class registration information as a PDF, so it’s easier to post to your Learning Management System and share with students.
Improved assignment flexibility:
  • Ability to assign fractions of points for individual questions and whole assignments.
  • Students will be able to start and submit assignments after the due date.

A bulk share and copy option:  
  • You can find and share courses with up to 10 colleagues at once.

Report a potential content or technical issue with ease:
  • The Ask Instructor and Ask Publisher functionality will provide pre-populated forms that include your information.  All you have to do is let us know what happened and how we can help.

New Connect Reports:
  • NEW Report!  The At-Risk Report will help you identify students who may be in danger of receiving a low grade or dropping the course, so you can intervene before it’s too late.
