Message sent from McGraw-Hill:

Dear Connect Community,

The Connect team has been hard at work to complete the necessary testing and analysis for our January release. Based on these results and the team’s efforts, we can now confirm the official Connect release date earlier than we expected:

All of the new features and enhancements will be released and available on Saturday, January 21, 2012. The total downtime for this release will be no longer than 24 hours, beginning at 12:01am EST and ending at 11:59pm EST.

Once again, we would like to apologize for moving the release date out. We also want to take this opportunity to mention again that the new features and enhancements won’t require any changes to your current sections or assignments so you can continue with setting up your courses as planned:

● Remember, when setting due dates for your assignments, that the release will be on January 21, 2012, so please schedule your assignments around this date.

● You can get started on your course for the new semester by duplicating one of your current sections. All of your questions, policy-settings, and instructions will remain intact and ready when the new release comes out.

● Student registration will be available up to the day of the release and immediately following, so please be sure to remind your students to sign-up!

As we celebrate the New Year, we want to thank you for being part of the Connect Community and we wish you great success and all the best in 2012!

Sincerely,
The Connect Team
