Unable to paste into new content editor using a mouse

Blackboard recently has delivered a new WYSIWYG editor, shown below, that no longer allows you to paste content into it using a right-click of the mouse.  This is the same way that many other applications such as Google Documents operates.  If you try to use the mouse to paste, you will be prompted with a message alerting you that your browser does not support this behavior.  The new WYSIWYG editor uses JavaScript.  Many browsers do not allow JavaScript access to the clipboard for security reasons. Pasting can be accomplished a couple of different ways.
  1. Use the keyboard shortcut, CTRL-v to paste to the editor or CTRL-c to copy from the editor.
  2. Click on the HTML button (located on the bottom row near the end).  Paste your content and click on Update.
